精采的2007 world pool championship決賽

NEW World Champion Daryl Peach admitted that he had always dreamed of winning the biggest prize in the sport.

Peach, 35, lifted the trophy and claimed the $100,000 top prize after securing a 17-15 victory in one of the best finals of all time.

He also becomes the first player from England to ever become the World Pool Champion after his memorable victory in front of more than 3,000 people at the Araneta Coliseum, Manila.

冠亞軍決賽採用先贏得17局為勝利者,採用贏球繼續衝球的規則進行,雙方都用鳥鳥衝開球(Soft break).最戲劇性的轉折應該是第31局最後的9號球Peach先發生灌球失誤,然後Gomez居然也失誤沒有進袋.Gomez這場比賽還掉了兩次眼淚,一次是跳球失敗另一次是9號球失誤.這兩次失誤代價就產生6萬美金的差距.(第一名獎金10萬美金,第二名獎金4萬美金)
